SUMMER CONCERT SERIES RETURNS TO THE WJ BACKSTREET PARK

The 2026 West Jefferson Community Partnership Summer Concert Series kicks off Friday, May 22, from 5:30-7 pm with the good old toe-tappin’ mountain music of the Rock Bottom Bluegrass Band, a unique blend of Traditional Progressive Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel tunes.The 2026 Summer Concert Series is in its 15th year of providing music from several genres, sharing a little something for everyone. All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or lawn chair! (In the event of rain, concerts will be held at the Farmers Market.) — Happy Trails Cowboy Church Horsepower, and Holy Spirit Car Show at 1489 Mount Jefferson Road, West Jefferson, North Carolina. The car show will be held in the upper part of the parking lot. Gates will open at 8 am. Registration ($20) will be closed at 12 noon, and prizes will be awarded at 1 pm. All proceeds go to the Happy Trails Cowboy Church building fund.
